Meet Our New VP of Web Services

Greetings!

I am very excited to be writing to you as the new VP of Web Services for Trio Solutions Inc. I came aboard the Trio Solutions team because I feel there are tremendous opportunities to help this company build upon its success and to offer an even greater level of service and support to its clients.

Over the past several years, Trio Solutions has developed an impressive portfolio of Web sites and applications that have increased the efficiency and exposure of its clients. My goal is to provide additional experience and focus to make Trio Solutions the premier Web site development company that nonprofit and healthcare organizations look to for expertise, professionalism, and most of all, a quality product delivered on-time.

In order to achieve this vision, there are three areas that I would like to focus on:

Project planning – The most critical, and often overlooked, phase of any Web site development project is the initial requirements gathering. If the time is taken before development begins to document each piece of the Web site in detail, the probability of the finished product being delivered on-time, within budget, and exactly matching the customer’s needs increases exponentially.

Usability – There is such a large volume of information available on the Internet today that the fight for a Web site visitor’s attention is fierce. The moment that a visitor becomes frustrated with a Web site, either because of unintuitive navigation or because they cannot find information they need, you will lose them to another Web site.
By focusing on information architecture, workflow, and simplicity, we hope to achieve a productive and pleasant experience for each visitor to the Web sites that we build.

Web standards – By building our Web sites according to W3C (www.w3.org) Web standards, Trio Solutions and its clients can reap the benefits of cross-platform compatibility, decreased time-to-market, and easier Web site maintenance.

I am looking forward to getting started here at Trio Solutions, and I hope to have the pleasure of working with you in the future!
