Local Business Owner Named PR Chair for Susan G. Komen for the Cure Lowcountry Affiliate 


Charleston, SC --- Jessica E. Munday, president and owner of Trio Solutions Inc., has been named public relations chair for Susan G. Komen for the Cure Lowcountry Affiliate. Munday has been actively involved with the Lowcountry Affiliate since 2002.

Munday’s company, Trio Solutions Inc. has provided marketing and public relation services to Komen on a pro bono basis for more than five years. “With Jessica’s knowledge of our organization and the industry, we felt it would be a perfect fit for her to lead our marketing and public relations efforts,” says Taffy Tamblyn, executive director of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Lowcountry Affiliate.

Munday, who donates much of her personal time to many local nonprofits, is known throughout the community as a philanthropist. Munday hopes her involvement with the Lowcountry Affiliate will “increase awareness about breast cancer and the wonderful work Komen does throughout the 12 counties they serve.” Munday lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband Jamie Holcombe, a professional sportfishing captain and their son, Davis and daughter, Hannah.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure Lowcountry Affiliate, is the local affiliate for the national Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization and is committed to saving lives and ending breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality of care for all and energizing science to find the cures. Seventy-five percent of the money raised locally is re-invested in local projects and initiatives within our 12-county service area.
