“Good Night, John Boy”
Well we’ve gotten our groove on, felt tha funk and boogied down during our 7th annual Createathon. Each year seems to get better and better. I’m continually impressed by the creative ideas that come out of Team TRIO. We celebrated this year with a 70s theme and totally jived with the five nonprofit Createathon organizations. We are all honored to have helped:
- Be a Mentor
- Maia Moms
- Park Circle Film Society
- Tricounty Family Ministries
- Yes Carolina
Over the past 24 hours we have created one logo, designed and built a website, produced two brochures, developed a fund-raising plan, provided social media training, produced a :60 radio PSA, promoted an upcoming gala, edited a video to include a call-to-action, revised a logo and played the game of Perfection!
We always have fun during our 24-hour creative blitz but we always stop and remember that the reason we do this every year is to help these incredible charities be the best they can be. They are all doing amazing work in the community and its truly an honor for them to allow us into their world, even if only for 24 hours. Our lives are touched and we can’t say thank you enough for what you do. You help make the world a better place.
So, until next year (hint: 8th annual will probably equal an 80s theme so break out the neon!) dream on! We’ll catch you on the flip side. Good night John Boy!
