PCIT California

Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is an evidence-based therapy model that helps young children and their caregivers build healthier relationships, improve behavior and reduce emotional distress through guided interaction and support. With a strong foundation in research and decades of proven outcomes, PCIT is one of the most effective early intervention programs for children ages 2–7.

With support from a new statewide initiative, PCIT is spreading awareness and accessibility of its important services in California. The goal? Expand access to PCIT across every county in the state so that more children and families can receive the support they need, regardless of background, income or location.

Our role? Helping get the word out and build momentum. Through this partnership, TRIO is providing:
