Lowcountry Ovarian Cancer Alliance
Having a community makes navigating any challenge easier—that includes ovarian cancer. The Lowcountry Ovarian Cancer Alliance (LOCA) understands the power of this supportive framework. Founded by survivors, healthcare professionals, health professional students and caring community members, LOCA strives toward a cure, bolstering local gynecological cancer patients and raising awareness of ovarian cancer. It does so through a monthly support luncheon, educational classes with future healthcare providers and “Teal Tote” care packages that provide patients comfort during their fight against ovarian cancer.
