Digital Marketing Specialist

The digital marketing specialist is responsible for implementing all digital marketing strategies, from planning and implementation to optimizing and reporting.
In this seat, you will be accountable for:
- Initiating all permissions and account setups in Meta Business Manager, Sendible and other social platforms.
- Consulting with account managers on digital and social ad placements for all accounts.
- Developing email and database marketing plans to support the client’s strategic goals.
- Setup, testing and sending of eblasts and newsletters from client platforms (Mailchimp, Network for Good, Constant Contact, Pardot, Hubspot, etc.)
- Marketing automation campaigns, including ideation, setup and monitoring when applicable.
- Moz campaigns and SEO strategies.
- Setup and management of Google Adwords accounts for TRIO clients.
- Providing estimates for social and digital ad campaigns.
- Analyzing and interpreting digital analytics.
- Collaborating with the client services team to develop client-facing reports, understanding the “why” and industry standards, and attending client discovery and reporting meetings as needed.
- Staying abreast of industry trends and insights to recommend the right mix of digital options for TRIO and its clients while identifying revenue growth and business development opportunities.
- Freelance relationships and collaboration with outsourcing partners on digital marketing projects as needed.
- Familiarity with specialty client digital management/fundraising systems (i.e., Blackbaud, Charity Proud, etc.) when needed.

In addition to an insatiable desire to learn, to be successful in this role, you must have the following qualifications:
- 3-5 years of agency and/or digital management experience.
- HubSpot certifications are required, with 1-3 years of HubSpot experience.
- Strong knowledge of SEO strategies, campaign management, and proficiency in using Moz as an SEO tool.
- Proficient in email marketing systems and marketing automation (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Pardot, HubSpot), with experience in list segmentation and optimization to improve targeting and deliverability.
- Knowledge of all social media channels and resources (i.e., Meta Business Manager, agency pages, etc.).
- Experience with Zapier and API connections to automate workflows and integrate tools.
- SMS marketing experience, including campaign management and optimization.
- Strong understanding of website analytics tools, including Google Analytics, HubSpot Analytics, SEMRush, Hotjar.
- Experience managing paid media campaigns, including ad creation, targeting, budgeting, and performance analysis across platforms like Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
- Resourceful, highly creative self-starter with strong analytical skills, able to independently generate ideas, develop engaging digital campaigns, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com) to manage tasks, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace) for website updates and content integration.
- Eager to engage in the EOS process, set rocks, and help create a path to achieve traction agency-wide.
- Comfortable engaging in conflict and familiar with the five behaviors of a cohesive team.
- Passionate about digital marketing, excited to be part of a full-service team, and skilled at making informed decisions, providing recommendations, and giving/receiving feedback to enhance the TRIO process and drive impactful marketing solutions.
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) principles to improve website navigation, landing page design, and user flows.
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) for creating marketing materials or collaborating with designers.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot CRM) for managing client relationships and tracking sales leads.
- Curious about how excellent work gets done and enthusiastic about ensuring creative excellence for all deliverables.
