As a member of TRIO’s leadership team, the Director of Digital Services plays a vital role on our accountability chart. This leader must embrace the agency’s bold, AI-powered future, leveraging emerging technologies to unlock performance, streamline workflows and keep TRIO at the forefront of digital innovation. At the same time, they must bring a deep understanding of EOS® (Entrepreneurial Operating System), including Traction, and a passion for building strong teams, clear processes and a culture of accountability. This role blends data-driven strategy with operational clarity to guide the team into what’s next.
This individual leads TRIO’s full spectrum of digital marketing and web development services, including SEO, paid media, email automation, analytics, high-converting landing pages and website builds, ensuring every initiative is designed to deliver measurable results and seamless synergy between web and paid campaigns. They are responsible for reviewing, analyzing and optimizing all performance data and translating it into actionable reporting that drives strategic decisions for our clients. This leader also oversees the management and health of TRIO’s dedicated server hosted on WP Engine, ensuring secure, efficient and reliable web operations.
In this seat, you will be accountable for:
Leading TRIO’s creative function, team and output across all touchpoints.
- Drive the planning, implementation and optimization of performance-focused campaigns, including SEO, Google Ads, paid social, email marketing and automation.
- Guide the strategy, architecture and development of websites—from sitemaps and wireframes to launch and ongoing optimization—ensuring high-converting landing pages that integrate with paid media strategies.
- Establish and track KPIs using GA4, SEMrush, Microsoft Clarity and other tools to deliver actionable, client-facing reports that demonstrate ROI.
- Lead and oversee the agency’s reporting process to ensure clients understand performance metrics and outcomes.
- Oversee the management and health of TRIO’s dedicated server on WP Engine in partnership with the web developer.
- Introduce and integrate AI-powered tools and automations to improve efficiency and performance across digital touchpoints.
- Champion a culture of innovation by leading team training, promoting responsible AI use, and staying ahead of platform and algorithm updates.
- Conduct daily huddles, weekly L-10 meetings and quarterly conversations to maintain team accountability and clarity.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Services and Client Services directors to ensure cohesive, cross-functional execution.
- Attend client discovery sessions, strategic presentations and reporting meetings to align digital tactics with overall marketing goals.
- Stay ahead of mar-tech innovation, behavioral trends and digital strategy best practices to evolve TRIO’s offerings.

To be successful in this role, you must have the following qualifications:
- 5–7 years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, paid media or web development, with leadership experience managing direct reports and cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, Computer Science or a related field
- Deep understanding of EOS® and Traction, with experience leading within structured frameworks
- Demonstrated success delivering results-driven digital campaigns with clear ROI
- Experience building and optimizing high-converting landing pages and integrating web strategy with paid and organic media
- Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools, including GA4, UTM tagging and SEMrush
- Skilled in SEO (technical and content), paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn), and CMS platforms such as WordPress
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, email marketing platforms and marketing automation systems
- Comfortable using AI tools to streamline processes, elevate performance and apply emerging digital trends
- A strategic thinker who is both results- and process-driven, with a mindset for continuous innovation
- A diplomatic, empathetic team leader—skilled in delegation, coaching and collaboration
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to turn complex data into simple, actionable insights for clients
- Experience managing server infrastructure and security, particularly with WP Engine, is a plus.
